Silk scarf washing and maintenance
About washing
Instructions for washing silk scarves:
1. Soak them in cold and clean water for 5-10 minutes;
2. Gently pinch and wash them with special silk detergent and rinse them with clear water for several times;
3. Wash silk scarves wet with sweat or contaminated with perfume as soon as possible;
4. Avoid acidic and alkaline detergents;
5. Do not mix with other clothes.
About drying
1. Do not twist after rinsing;
2. Lay the silk scarf on the dry towel, and roll it up along the edge to absorb water in a roller shape;
3. Hang the reverse side in the shade to dry it, which is not suitable for drying or exposing it to the Sun;
4. When it is 70% or 80% dry, put lining cloth on it and iron it, and 100 degrees is appropriate.
About maintenance and storage
1. Choose dry lockers to avoid direct sunlight;
2. Fold them in drawers or hang them on smooth hangers;
3. Do not place camphor balls and desiccant to avoid crisp and yellowing fabrics.
